Kaffe Fassett Rainbow Lone Star Quilt
Still haven’t decided how I will quilt it, but thought I would go head and post the finished top of my Kaffe Fassett Rainbow Lone Star.
This quilt celebrates my love for Kaffe Fassett fabrics and the entire Kaffe Fassett Collective including Brandon Mably and Phillip Jacobs. I’ve been collecting these fabrics for years and sold a whole heck of a lot of them in my retail store, but haven’t ever quilted with them (surprisingly).
I used fat quarters from several different Kaffe Fassett seasonal releases that I purchased from Craftsy. Craftsy has the best deals on Kaffe bundles, I just wish they had a better selection of Kaffe fabric by the yard.
If you’re interested in giving Lone Star quilts a go, they really are much easier than they look.
A class that I recommend over and over again to anyone who worries that they have no idea where to start is the Luminous Lone Star class taught by my friend Courtenay Hughes. This class is worth its weight in gold, and I would highly recommend purchasing it so that it lives forever in your Craftsy library and you can reference any time that you make another Lone Star.
Stay tuned because I’m working on a Lone Star quilt series here on the blog. It will take a while for me to put together since I want it to be high quality.
