I'm always on the hunt for good quilt tutorials that use charm packs. One of my favorites that I've used before is the Charm Squares Baby Quilt by Elizabeth Hartman of Oh, Fransson! fame. This is a quick and easy quilt for baby gifts. Recently posted on the Moda Back Shop blog, the Pezzy Brick Road quilt tutorial uses the new Pezzy Prints collection charm pack from Moda. (For those of you wondering, a charm pack is a bundle of pre-cut cottons cut into 5x5 squares. A charm pack bundle typically contains one or two pieces of each print from a collection. It's a great way to get lots of small cuts that all coordinate.) I love this tutorial because it uses the cute, graphic Pezzy prints but also because it's a pattern that can be easily used with other charm pack collections - the concept of bordering the prints with a coordinating solid to make it pop is genius. Just like Hartman's quilt tutorial, I know I'll be going back to this one again and again.
